OUR STORY

A WARM WELCOME TO THE CLINIC...

Established in 1997, Dr Cameron Skerman took over the reins in January

2006. Since then the team at The Animal Health Centre have prided themselves on building long term relationships with their clients and their beloved pets. Our aim is to maintain a friendly relationship with our clients, while providing the best care for their animals. We welcome any queries regarding our services or general enquiries regarding your furry family!

Our Staff

The team at the Animal Health Centre consists of several friendly local faces;

Dr Cameron Skerman - Owner and Head Veterinarian

Georgina Stoeckel - Practice Manager and Head Registered Veterinary Nurse

Selina Gifford - Registered Veterinary Nurse

Annette de Jong - Registered Veterinary Nurse & Certified Dog Trainer

Rueve Smith - Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Each of us have pets of our own whom we love and care for, and we like to make sure we give the same love and attention to your precious pets as we would expect for our own.

Our Hospital

We provide a wide range of veterinary services, as well as a variety of surgical procedures that can be performed in our clinic.

We stock a range of super premium foods for both cats and dogs, as well as yummy treats! We also have flea & worm treatments, health supplements and ROGZ collars, leads and harnesses.

The clinic has comprehensive in-house laboratory equipment allowing us to perform blood tests here on site, along with other laboratory tests your pet may require.

We also have a digital x-ray machine and ultrasound facilities.

Our Small Animal Consultation hours are:
Monday - Friday 9am-10:30am & 3pm-5pm, Wednesday evening 5:30pm-7pm

Consultations are by appointment only.

Small animal surgery and routine farm calls are performed between the above hours - Monday to Friday.
If your pet is having a life threatening emergency during opening hours, please don't hesitate to contact us straight away so we can arrange a vet to assess as soon as possible.

We no longer provide an after hours service. After 20 years providing this service, Dr Cameron has decided he'd like to spend more time with his family & friends.
If you are experiencing an animal emergency, try contacting one of the other vets in the district or alternatively contact WAVES on 9412-5700 (they're located on Beeliar Drive in Success, south of Perth).
